In 1993 the Couper and Milward families formed a partnership which bought the
St John's Cottag to set up Small World. At this time the buildings were dilapidated
and the grounds were a mess.

The rebuild started shortly after the plot was bought. The buildings were stripped back to shells and recieved a complete redisign for nursery purposes.
The picture shows part of the barn back in 1993.
In 2003 the "bottom plot" was cleaed of all the remains and the bungalow was built.
Designed for either residence or nursery use, in early 2004 it became the official Baby Room.
